Eddy is a whiskey educator, Certified Bourbon Steward, and the founder and host of Barrel Hunters. Based in Austin, Texas, he is the author of The Art of Tasting Whiskey: How to Identify, Describe, and Truly Enjoy Every Pour.
Through Barrel Hunters, Eddy explores bourbon, rye, Scotch, and other whiskeys through bottle reviews, blind tastings, tier lists, and educational conversations. His focus is helping people understand what they enjoy, feel more confident describing it, and make better bottle-buying decisions without getting caught up in the hype.
Before co-founding Barrel Hunters, Eddy worked in film and real estate development. Today, his whiskey work brings together storytelling, tasting, and a community of people who enjoy discovering their next great pour.
Alongside its YouTube videos, Barrel Hunters offers a Patreon community, virtual whiskey tastings, and barrel selections. Eddy’s book extends that same approachable style to readers who want to explore whiskey with more confidence and less pretension.
